It’s simple! Send us a current copy of your resume which includes your contact details, residential address, and the job and location which you are applying for. The email address is recruitmentnsw@edmen.com.au or fax to 1300 665 917 and attention to the Recruitment Team.

Alternatively, you can apply directly through a job advertisement that you see through other online websites such as Seek, Indeed, CareerOne etc.

Our requirements and job descriptions change depending on the area and type of job you are applying for (e.g. Disability Support Worker, Aged Care Worker or Youth Worker). You can refer to the job advertisement for information about the role, and will be given specific position details if your application is progressed to phone screen stage.

Due to the nature of the positions we recruit for you must meet the minimum requirements outline on a job ad in order to be considered for the role. Unfortunately, we cannot offer employment to candidates who have not had the relevant industry experience. Edmen does not offer work placement, volunteer programs, traineeships or Visa sponsorship at this point in time.

Please state on your application that you have previously worked for Edmen and wish to return and a member of our Recruitment team will be in touch with you regarding current opportunities. Depending on the gap in employment with Edmen you may need to go through the entire or partial stages of the recruitment process again.

Please ask your friend to send their resume through to refer@edmen.com.au and ensure that they state on their application that you referred them. Current staff may be eligible to receive incentives for referring candidates who are later placed into employment providing they have completed a nominal amount of hours. 

You will receive an email to notify you that we have received your resume. If your application is short listed for a position you will receive a phone call or be notified via email if you application was unsuccessful.

Due to the high volume of applications we receive it may take up to 2 weeks before you are notified whether your application has been short listed for a position. Please be patient.

Due to the high volume of applications we receive it is advisable that you do not call the recruitment team within the first week of your application being sent however please  refer to the FAQ page on our website to answer any queries you may have as this may assist. 

Once we have received your application and you have been shortlisted for a role a member of the recruitment team will touch base with you via phone, email or text. You will then need to go through a phone screening process where your skills/experience are assessed against the requirements of the role.

If you are deemed suitable for a role you will be contacted between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm and will be invited to attend either a phone or face-to-face interview as part of the next stage of the recruitment process. You will be notified by the interviewer if you were successful in your interview, and if so, will be invited to attend the final stage of assessment centre.

After you attend the assessment centre, the appropriate probity checks (e.g. reference check, criminal history, Working With Children’s Check) will be completed and you will be notified whether you are successful in gaining employment.

An assessment centre is a compulsory part of the recruitment process that successful interviewees must attend. You will gain an insight into Edmen as a business and what you can expect in a role. You will also engage in group activities as part of an assessment of your understanding of the requirements of a particular role.

Depending on which stage of the recruitment process your application progresses to you will be notified via email or phone if you were unsuccessful. We will still keep your application on our database for future reference and notify you if you are eligible for any other positions going forward. 

If your probity checks come back clear and you are offered a position with Edmen you will then be contacted by a member of our Servicing team who will provide you with information regarding orientation shifts or working shifts.
